The Sablon in 1587
Between fire, faith and facades
Long before it became a haven for antique dealers and strollers, the Sablon was a swamp. In 1587, banners of the Spanish Netherlands fluttered here amid processions and early stone houses.
The Vertigo building has seen centuries pass before hosting firelight and fine wine.
An homage to a neighborhood where sacred meets bohemian, and history is something you can taste.
